When you are typing anything, it doesn't let you know what size font you have, only that you can sort of change the font size, but that is iffy too.

#Prezi classic vs next full
It keeps telling me I'm not connected to the internet and that is why I can't edit my presentation, when I am definitely connected to the internet and have full bars. The few times that it actually does work it is so slow and rediculous, you might as well give up and go back to power point.

4 stars! I wondered how to explain it, went to Wikipedia and can't really come up with a better description so here is theirs: Dreamed up by some clever Hungarians, Prezi takes business and student presentation up a league – and it is pretty easy to learn. The Prezi Online presentation system knocks the socks off PowerPoint. Need to do a business or academic presentation? Want something that is better and easier to navigate around than boring old PowerPoint? That has lots of extra features – zooming, drawing, etc? Kinda.Prezi - Business, Student, Academic Presentations Online If not at the divisional level, then provincially.įeel free to look it up- it’s laughably bad- Bill 64 in Manitoba- “Education Modernization Act”. But I am so sad (frustrated) that we finally got on board with one interface, and it’s very likely we will be changing again. I would not be shocked if we cut our Google association and get Teams rammed at us. He hasn’t done anything yet, but he is promoting Teams a LOT.

Naturally, a new IT admin was recently hired and is a Microsoft guy. As such, I’ve been converting and making new slideshows in Slides instead of PPT. So because the division has a contract for Google emails, this was the wisest choice for the moment. Too many interfaces= Overload and shutdown. Every teacher for themselves.Īs such, kids really suffered academically. When the pandemic last spring, it was such a hodge-podge and kids were overwhelmed with Google Classroom, Teams, Edmodo, Chalk, etc. I have been finding myself trying to commit to Google Slides because my school adopted Google Classroom in September just to have a common interface for students. For the record- I have been a PPT guy just because it’s been so consistently available.
